The sun has finally come out of hiding!

And what a lovely welcome it is getting from the Seattlites, indeed. Tulips and Azaleas are growing like mad, everywhere you look. People are starting to wear shorts, (a risky endeavor, I feel,) and signs for "Sandal Sales" are being slung outside every shoe store front. Summer time? I think it just might be!

So when I go to Erin's house, I have to wait at a bus stop by my work. It's in the middle of Stewart  Street by a Taco Del Mar and some pizza joint. A lot of people just getting off work pass by, and last week I was listening to my ipod, when I discovered the men in business suits, marching to the beat of Twelfth Street Rag, was a very funny site. Unfortunately, if you decide to do this on your own, please keep your laughter to yourself. They apparently don't take kindly to young ladies standing on the street giggling at them for no apparent reason. I think they thought they had a banana peel stuck to their foot or something, but I found it a clever way to pass my time.

The forecast for today: Sunny, with an optimistic outlook on life.
